Samuel's 4th Birthday Party--ROAR!!!

We celebrated Samuel's birthday on Monday, December 15th with a Dinoaur party. Sam and I made cute dinosaur cupcakes (we even designed them ourselves!).

Here are the favor bags I made at the last minute.

The boys played a game where they had to cross the room on dinosaur tracks.

Then they pretended they were paleontologists and dug for fossils in play-doh.

After a few more games, Samuel opened his presents and ate Dinosaur chicken nuggets and cupcakes. What a fun group of little BOYS!

Christmas Pageant

Samuel got to be a shepherd in the Christmas Pageant that our church put on for the residents at a retirement community. The schedule of the day was off and the kids were so tired and hungry by the time the pageant started, but they did a great job!

Evan stole the show when he joined the singers and started sweetly touching baby Jesus. Sam was a good big brother--he put his arm around Evan. The other kids gathered around the manger to look at baby Jesus, too. People said it was the best part of the pageant, but I was just focusing on getting Evan out of there before he started hitting the baby or something.

Highlights from Fall '08

Here are some photos from this fall to get things started.

In October, I got to go to Texas for MOPS convention with 4 other MOPS moms from the group at our church. We had a blast!

Samuel came back from staying at Grandma and PaJ's with a new guitar!

Aunt Kendra flew into Flagstaff for a special treat.

Our family went to an 80's party for Jr. High and High School groups...how embarrassing!

Sam and I had a picnic outside on a nice fall day while Evan napped.

The boys love taking a bath together, but hate getting out and having mom put cold lotion on them.

We went up to the peaks to enjoy the fall colors and watch Jeremy ride his mountain bike.

We went to Oak Creek with the high schoolers for a retreat. Sam and Evan and their friends Eden and August got to feed the trout at the fish farm.

Now we've decorated for Christmas!
